Pacioretty's even-strength goal total is really impressive, especially considering the few players that have more and their status in the league.

to a team like toronto or NYR or CHI who have limited cap space and that have a great need for shut down dman a 2ed is not a big deal. They are not taking from the roster which would give them great depth. How many dmen are available with gills resume?

you accept nothing less than a 2nd rounder for him, absolutely nothing less.

dominic moore proved to be worth it, but players that have gone over the last two years for second rounders mostly haven't been.

Gill is absolutely worth it to a team that needs him, and there are several, for all the reasons mentioned in the blog
